Amanda & Philip's home swap holiday in Mexico "We enjoyed a wonderful home exchange staying in Michael's lovely condo in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Communication was excellent and we had such a wonderful trip. Michael gave us the details of a lovely lady called Sandy who was able to help us with any questions we had. Many people who visit Puerto Morelos come to enjoy the talcum powder white sand and the beers in the many lovely restaurants along the beach. We however we far more interested in the history and culture of the Yucatan Peninsula as it is very different to other parts of Mexico. The Yucatan Peninsula has the Mayan heritage complete with spectacular museums, archaeological Mayan ruins, stunning cenotes and very diverse cities. The month we spent in the Yucatan was a great insight to the Mayan culture, the regions history whilst still finding time to explore the cenotes and the beaches.
