First time home swapping: East London to New York City

Swapping our London home for New York City

"This was our first ever home swap and was such a lovely trip. We met Barbara and Rob in person before the exchange as they were already in London. We swapped tips about each other's homes and neighbourhoods. It was a pleasure to meet them and then to spend time in their lovely Manhattan apartment.

We particularly loved watching the sun set and rise over the city. Such great urban New York views from both bedrooms and living room. The building itself is very well kept and in a fantastic location with so many great neighbourhood restaurants and diners within walking distance. Loved the breakfasts at the Malibu Diner! Another plus was that the subway is only a couple of minutes walk away making it really easy to explore the city.

This was a special trip for us - celebrating our anniversary and catching up with old friends from when we used to live here. We throughly enjoyed our first home swap holiday exploring New York City."
