Cathy gave very sound advice on why it’s always wise to start making plans, especially for international home exchanges, several months before the period wanted (more opportunities for finding a suitable exchange, time to get to know exchange partners and time for both parties to find the best flight deals); but there will always be people who need to arrange exchanges at short notice for a variety of reasons.

Asheville area known for mountain biking, kayaking and rafting. The film "Last of the Mohicans" filmed in the area. Unexpected family circumstances mean we are looking last minute for an exchange for the 2009/10 Christmas period, but also open to longer swap in summer of 2010.
