Long time Home Base Holidays member, Jo Piercey, let me know recently that she had been interviewed for an article on home exchange published in the Financial section of the Daily Mail on 30 May this year. This is the category in the weblog where we include information on recent media coverage, with a link to the article when available. Neither Jo nor I could find a link to this article (some newspaper articles are archived after a few weeks and only available if you register on the newspaper's website but this one is a mystery!) Anyway, we really appreciate it when members like Jo take the time to answer journalists' questions and are happy to return the favour with some extra publicity for their next exchange offers on this weblog. I forgot to write and tell you that Roger and the children and I were written up in the Financial Mail on 30 May 2004.This past summer, we exchanged with some people for the THIRD time!! We have become fast friends and when he comes over to visit his father a few times a year, he always comes for dinner (sometimes he brings one of his sons...)
Most of our exchanges have been to the US, but we did a wonderful exchange to Spain and also a weekend exchange just to London!! That was fun, too...
We haven't thought about our exchange for next summer yet, so maybe some interesting offers will come our way... Regards, Jo

If you are a Home Base Holidays member do let me know if you are interviewed for an article or take part in filming for a TV programme or a radio interview on home exchange. Then you too will have your next exchange offer immortalised in a post on this weblog!
