Hyggeby Lodge, Yanwath (see 9th photo in the picture story in the Guardian)
‘Hygge is a Danish word that loosely translates as surrounding yourself with things, and by is Danish for home.’
Hyggeby Lodge is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Situated in an elevated position with a light and spacious open plan living area, it offers stunning views to the Pennines across the Eden Valley.
The owners are a retired couple in late 50s who bought the Lodge as a holiday property in 2011 and have upgraded it considerably. See their full home exchange offer and more photos.
